Welcome to Ag Implements Merredin
Ag Implements Merredin (AIM) commenced business in August 2001 and initially operated from temporary premises with a workforce totalling 8 staff. In the years since, the workforce has increased to 25 and will continue to do so with the ongoing growth of the company.
In April 2003 AIM moved into their present day premises which has been specifically designed and built to our requirements. This is a modern, up to date building, and described by John Deere’s then Managing Director, Dan Stremke at the official opening, as being “world class”, and houses not only the administration staff and parts department, but also an extremely large workshop. The workshop was designed to be able to accommodate even the largest of John Deere machines and to be fully worked upon with sufficient ease for our technicians.
In 2003 and after only 2 years in business AIM became the top dealership for John Deere, not only in WA, but also Australia and New Zealand. With this achievement, AIM was named in the prestigious John Deere Managers Club for 2004. This award is not only achieved by business sales, but other factors some of which are; the quality of premises, customer satisfaction, presentation of staff and staff training
2004 saw AIM awarded the Business Award for the Year through the Merredin Community Awards which is supported not only by the Merredin Shire Council but also the Merredin Business Forum.
In November 2004, AIM expanded into Mukinbudin by purchasing existing offices and workshops in the town. This now affords better availability of parts and service for existing clients and the opportunity to take the John Deere products to a larger area surrounding Merredin. This move has also provided employment to another 6 people.
